Ingredients 1 lb ground beef 1 lb ground pork 1 onion chopped 1/2 c uncooked rice (brown or white) 2 eggs salt & pepper to taste (easy on the salt) 2 28 oz can crushed tomatoes in sauce 1 cabbage (regular or savoy) | Preparation cook rice while rice is cooking peel off whole leaves of cabbage cut out large veins (this will split leaves in half) mix rice, beef, pork, onion, salt & pepper in bowl pam a 9x12 baking dish form a football shaped portion of mixture, wrap with one leaf, and place in baking dish pour tomatoes over halupki in dish bake at 350 for 1 hour |
