Ingredients 1 1/2 lb (3) sweet potatoes (or southern yams) 3 T butter 1/4 c brown sugar 1/2 c finely ground pecans | Preparation potatoes peel potatoes and put in saucepan covered with water bring to a boil and then simmer covered for 10 minutes until tender drain potatoes melt butter in heavy skillet add sugar and stir til it melts add potatoes, stir well and saute until glazed, 4-5 minutes dredge mixture in pecans serve warm |
